Today was this city-wide bacchanalia. It divides the city in half for most of the day and makes getting around difficult. Anyone near the race route is unlikely to be able to park unless they have a private spot. We’re near the route. We do not have a private spot.

Her: Wait. So where’s the car?

Me: Now or earlier?

Her: Both.

Me: Friday, I parked it about ten blocks from the finish line and left it there. Today, after the race, I drove it over by work, went to the gym, and left it there. I won’t have to move it again until tomorrow morning so I won’t have to try to park in our neighborhood until tomorrow.

Her: You’re a genius!

Me: [grins]

Her: When does that kick in for me?

Me: What?

Her: The genius!

Me: [smirks]
