Peaches

Her, between bites of peach: You know, peach pits always sort of creep me out.

Me: Yeah. They always look like something is about to crawl out of them.

Her: [uncontrolled noises of discomfort and disgust whilst simultaneously trying to get it as far away from her as possible and not drop it]

Me: So.. I guess that’s not what creeps you out about them?

I swear thought that was what she was talking about. I still don’t know what she actually meant.
